During a hospital shift, Hilal Ibrahim noticed that a patient’s blood got on her uniform. The hospital stocked extra scrubs for her to change into, but the only option to replace her hijab at the time was a hospital blanket.
H + H Med recognized a need in the healthcare community to make hijabs accessible to Muslim patients and providers alike. These lightweight hijabs are a first-of-their-kind product and are disposable, affordable, and breathable.
